With its distinct Filipino taste, consumer base drastically increased that in 1984, it hit the P500 Million sales mark and became one of the Top 500 Philippine Corporations. Barely after 5 years, in 1989, its sales soared to the P1 billion mark.  The rest was then history for this number 1 Filipino fast food chain.  Currently, it has almost 600 stores and is growing fast in the country and abroad as well.

How to Franchise Jollibee in the Philippines?

Below are the step by step guide in owning your first Jollibee store.

  1. A Franchise application form is needed to be filled up. It can be downloaded at its official website (www.jollibee.com.ph). Print a copy and make sure that all required items are accurately and completely filled out.
  2. A detailed proposal is also needed with the following content:
    * Letter of Intent – this will contain the exact address of your proposed site, exact mailing address,  contact numbers and other pertinent information about the applicant.
    * Vicinity Map of Proposed Site – this is needed when field personnel will be conducting an on-site evaluation
    * Legal Document certifying applicant’s ownership of the site
    * Detailed resume or bio-data of the applicant
  3. If all of these are complete, mail sealed documents to the address below:
    JOLLIBEE FOODS CORPORATION
    Franchising & Events Department
    9th Floor Jollibee Plaza
    #10 F. ORtigas Jr. Road

  4. After receipt of your application documents, there is a lead time processing time of about 2-3 months. Take note that submission of the application form does not bind Jollibee or the applicant itself yet. This is just the initial step and your documents will still be evaluated most especially your proposed store location.
  5. Once application has been approved, Jollibee will discuss with the franchisee details of investment cost, return of investment and other franchising concerns.

I want to start a Jolibee franchise in the Philippines. I am retiring soon and I want to have this source if income when I go back to my homeland. I’ve been looking around Jolibee’s in the Philippines and the chicken is great! Better than KFC I think, but what’s disappointing are the restrooms!! They’re all the same, no water, no toilet paper, smelly and disgusting! Do you corporate people even expect the facilities every now and then? I mean, 35+ mil Peso to franchise a business is no joke so it should also have a clean facility right?
